We keep the facility dry and run regular pest checks, since damp and pests are the two things that quietly damage stored furniture and electronics over time. Wood furniture, upholstery, and sensitive items are wrapped and protected before they go into the vault.
5. Is there a minimum storage commitment?
No minimum term. Storage is billed month to month and ends when you are ready. If your OC renovation finishes ahead of schedule or the new property closes early, you schedule the return and we deliver. You pay only for the months your belongings are in the vault.
6. Are my belongings insured while in storage?
Royal Moving & Storage holds California carrier license CAL-T 191476 and carries cargo coverage that applies while your belongings are in our facility and in transit. Standard policies typically cover theft, vandalism, and weather events but exclude ordinary wear and earth movement. Check what your homeowner or renter policy already covers and speak with your coordinator if you want additional coverage discussed.
